We are looking for an experienced IT Asset & Procurement Team Leader to manage IT procurement, asset management, and inventory operations across the business. Leading a small team, you will ensure assets are effectively purchased, tracked, maintained, and disposed of throughout their lifecycle.
You will play a key role in improving asset governance, supplier management, stock accuracy, and operational efficiency across multiple sites. This is a great opportunity for someone organised, commercially aware, and experienced in managing IT assets in a fast-paced environment.
This role is based at our head office in Barton upon Humber.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the IT Procurement, Asset, and Inventory team, managing performance and KPIs
- Oversee procurement, supplier relationships, and full asset lifecycle management
- Maintain asset records, manage inventory and stock, and lead audits across sites
- Produce reports on performance, compliance, and supplier activity
- Identify efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve processes
- Support IT projects, including rollouts and new site setups
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience managing IT asset, procurement, inventory, or IT operations functions
- Proven leadership experience within an operational environment
- Strong knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management and governance
- Experience managing suppliers, procurement processes, and budgets
- Skilled in asset registers, inventory systems, and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with Microsoft Excel experience
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with ITSM, procurement, or asset management platforms
- Multi-site experience within retail, manufacturing, or logistics advantageous
- ITIL, Asset Management, or Procurement qualifications desirable
- Knowledge of software licensing, compliance, and tools such as ServiceNow, HaloITSM, Ivanti, or Lansweeper beneficial
