Full job description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join our friendly team in Yeovil. Our nursery is based in the Old School on Houndstone Close, Abbey Manor Park, in Yeovil. We provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment where children thrive under the care of our highly trained team, who understand and respond to each child’s individual needs. Every child enjoys access to fun, stimulating activities that encourage creativity, imagination and confidence as they learn and grow.

As Room Leader, you’ll inspire children, support your team and model outstanding practice. You’ll help create a safe, nurturing space where every child can thrive and ensure high standards of care, education and safeguarding at all times.

What we’re looking for:

Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
Strong understanding of the EYFS
2+ years’ experience in an early years setting
Confident communicator with great leadership skills
This role is 40 hours per week, although we are happy to consider a 32 hour working week
