Job Title: Credit Controller & Office Assistant
Location: Aylesford
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per year (Depending on experience)
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

About Us
We are a growing business based in Aylesford looking for a versatile, reliable, and experienced individual to join our close-knit office team. If you enjoy a varied day where you can balance credit control with general office duties, we would love to hear from you.

The Role
This role is the perfect mix of finance control and daily office support. You will be responsible for keeping our cash flow healthy through effective credit control, while also assisting with the smooth running of the wider office, handling staff admin, and communicating with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Control: Take ownership of the sales ledger, chase overdue payments by phone and email, and resolve invoice queries.
Office & Document Support: Raise invoices, type up professional letters, and prepare customer quotes.
Employee Administration: Manage staff holiday tracking and assist with the processing of payroll.
Front of House: Act as a main point of contact by answering incoming calls and assisting with general office duties.

What We Are Looking For

Proven Experience: A solid background in credit control alongside strong office administration skills.
Software Skills: Previous experience using Sage Line 50 is highly desirable but not a deal-breaker.
Communication: Excellent telephone manner with clear verbal and written communication skills.
Organisation: Great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks across the office.
