Store Manager Designate – Vision Express (Bristol Area)

Are you an ambitious retail or hospitality leader ready for your next step? Whether you're currently a Supervisor, Team Leader or Assistant Store Manager, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

At Vision Express, part of the global EssilorLuxottica group, you'll work with world-leading brands including Ray-Ban, Meta, Oakley, Prada and Nuance while developing the skills and experience needed to become a successful Store Manager.

As a Store Manager Designate, you'll support stores across the Bristol area, gaining exposure to different teams, challenges and opportunities while building towards your first Store Manager position.

What You'll Do

Support the day-to-day leadership of stores across the Bristol area
Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable customer experiences
Lead from the front, coaching and developing colleagues to achieve their best
Support commercial performance through strong people leadership and operational excellence
Build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders across multiple locations
Take ownership of key priorities and confidently step into leadership responsibilities
Develop the skills, knowledge and experience required to progress into a Store Manager role
Adapt quickly to different stores and support teams through change and growth

What We're Looking For

Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, Assistant Store Manager or equivalent leadership role
Background in retail, hospitality or another customer-focused environment
Ambition to develop into a Store Manager and build a long-term leadership career
Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping people
Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others
Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working across multiple locations
A collaborative approach and the confidence to build relationships quickly
Positive, proactive and eager to learn
Full flexibility to travel across the Bristol area to support different stores
Optics experience is not required – we'll support you to learn everything you need
