We are looking for a Compounder to join our team to support the flavor creation and sampling team by compounding, labelling and preparing flavors for shipping following the appropriate procedures.

What you’ll do:

Work to guarantee the traceability and quality of Compound samples with consistent accuracy and precision according to formulation (liquid and powder)
Assist in the evaluation of raw materials for organoleptic quality and specification review and support flavor creation
Keep the sample KPIs on track and prioritise tasks by using your own initiative to solve issues quickly according to agreed priorities and maintain a clean work environment by observing all laboratory protocols
Check stock levels, replenishing where required though compounding or liaising with production
Pack and ship samples using relevant logistical IT systems and complete document filing for customs purposes
Participate in Sensory Panels and maintain a professional and pleasant working relationship with team members

What you’ll bring:

A Scientific background with an ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including percentage calculations and conversion between imperial and metric units of measure
Minimum of High school education or GED. Associate degree would be an advantage
An ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment
No prior experience required, however any laboratory experience and knowledge in health and safety would be an advantage
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and be able to occasionally lift up-to 25lbs
