Full job description

Job Title: CNC Miller Setter

Job Type: Weekends, Perm

Location: Banbury

Hours: Fri-Sun 7am-7:30pm

Pay: £43,360.20 - £45,442.28

Norbar Torque Tools Ltd, the world leading torque tool manufacturer is looking to recruit a skilled and reliable CNC Setter/Operator to join our weekend shift production team (comprising 36 hours Friday - Sunday), in this role, you will ensure CNC and relevant manual machines operate efficiently, safely and to the required specifications.

Key responsibilities:

Maintain a safe working environment, following all safety procedures and ensuring work areas remain clean and hazard-free.
Work to planned schedules, following work-to lists and coordinating with shift management to support effective production planning.
Ensure data accuracy, reporting any errors through the correct processes.
Set and operate CNC machinery and associated production equipment to produce components to specification.
Follow workplace standards and control plans, inspect components against engineering drawings using various measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with other departments as needed to support smooth production flow.
Perform any additional duties reasonably requested by Shift Management.

About You:

Experience setting and operating CNC machines (knowledge/background with Matsuura Multi-Pallet machinery would be a distinct advantage).
A good understanding of engineering drawings and measurement tools.
A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Reliable, organised and able to work to production targets.
