Working style: Hybrid – Works part from Broadside and part from home.

We are currently recruiting Social Workers to join our Children and Young People Disability Team 0-18. Key Responsibilities

Work with children and young people with disabilities and form a meaningful relationship with them.

Undertake assessments of the needs of the children and developing care and support plans.

Contribute to and coordinate care packages in partnership with health and social care professionals.

Support children, young people, and families through the Preparation for Adulthood pathway.

Ability and skills to undertake Mental Capacity Assessments where appropriate.

Contribute to work relating to Court of Protection Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (CoP DoLS).

Promote safeguarding and ensure the wellbeing of children and young people at all times

Candidates will be offered a competitive basic salary between £39,823 and £43,425 per annum, dependant on your experience, and the potential to earn up to £50,425 per year when market premiums and retention are applied.

About You
-
You will hold a recognised Social Work qualification eg. Degree in Social Work, PGC in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent and be registered with Social Work England.

You will have successfully completed your ASYE.

You will have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes (including business use for carrying passengers).
