Overview

Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm or 8:30am – 4:30pm with occasional longer days required for travel to site visits or events
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Assistant to join the RSM Group marketing team, working closely with our Marketing Executive across RSM Fuel Delivery, RSM Fuel Services, RSM Drain Solutions and RSM Fuel Cards.

This is a varied, hands-on role with a strong focus on creating engaging organic and paid social media content across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. You’ll be involved in brainstorming ideas, producing reels, carousels and graphics, carrying out photo and video shoots and developing and adapting content for different audiences.

The role is based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, but you won’t be limited t o sitting behind a desk. You’ll regularly visit sites, working with our engineers, drivers and office teams to capture real people, projects, equipment and day-to-day life at RSM.

We want to grow our audiences, strengthen our brands and showcase what makes RSM a great place to work, while ensuring all content is professional, engaging, on-brand and of a consistently high standard.

Previous experience within the fuel, drainage, environmental or engineering industries is not required. We will provide the industry knowledge you need.

You’ll also work collaboratively with and support the Marketing Executive with wider marketing activities and campaigns across the Group.

Roles and responsibilities

Work closely with the Marketing Executive to develop creative content and campaign ideas
Create engaging organic and paid social media content across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
Produce reels, videos, carousels, photography and graphics
Adapt content for different brands, platforms and target audiences
Encourage office and operational staff to get involved in content creation
Help grow RSM’s social media audiences and engagement
Showcase RSM’s people, culture, services and day-to-day operations
Support wider marketing campaigns and activities across the RSM Group
Ensure all marketing content is professional, engaging, accurate and on-brand

Skills, knowledge and experience

Creative with a strong eye for visual content
Exceptional attention to detail
Enthusiastic, proactive and willing to get involved
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confident using social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn and creative tools such as Canva
Able to generate ideas and turn them into engaging content
Comfortable working with a wide range of people across the business
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Marketing experience or a relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
Previous industry experience is not required
The ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with the Marketing Executive
Most importantly, a genuine interest in marketing and a willingness to learn and develop

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
