Situated in Newtown, Powys, this luxurious 73-bed, purpose-built nursing and residential home opened in January 2020 and offers state-of-the-art facilities including a coffee shop/bistro, hair & nail salon, activities room, landscaped gardens, and advanced care technology.
We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and dynamic environment for both residents and staff, and we are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate individuals to join our catering team and contribute to our continued success.
As a Bank Catering Assistant, you'll help ensure the smooth running of the kitchen by:
Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals tailored to residents' dietary needs.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas.
Supporting stock management and proper food storage.
Helping during busy meal service times.
Creating a welcoming kitchen environment for staff and residents.
Completing any required training to support your development.

- Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final.Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me' app. Flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM'.
What We're Looking For
Enthusiasm, reliability, and a commitment to high standards.
Desirable: Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role.
Preferred: Food Hygiene Certificate (training provided if needed).
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
A flexible and proactive approach to work.
