Overview

Boutique Dental 23 – Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan

An exciting opportunity has become available for a GDC-registered Dental Therapist to join our friendly, family-run team at Boutique Dental 23.

We are an established independent practice providing high-quality NHS and private dentistry, with a strong reputation for exceptional patient care, modern dentistry and cosmetic treatments. Our experienced team is passionate about delivering outstanding care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Duties

Perform dental treatments including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions under the supervision of a dentist or independently where permitted
Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to assist in designing dental restorations and prosthetics with precision
Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays to diagnose oral health issues accurately
Apply your knowledge of anatomy to identify and address dental and periodontal conditions effectively
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health
Maintain detailed patient records, treatment plans, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with dental team members to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs

Requirements

Qualified Dental Therapist with current registration and licensure from relevant regulatory bodies
Proven experience in delivering dental therapy services in a clinical setting
Proficiency in CAD software for designing restorations and prosthetic devices
Strong understanding of medical imaging techniques related to dentistry, including X-ray interpretation
Solid knowledge of human anatomy, particularly oral and maxillofacial structures
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Pay: £26,555.59-£56,968.76 per year

Work Location: In person
