Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrator in a flexible part time role to join our long standing family run business!

You will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support administrative functions that keep our operations running smoothly. Your proactive approach and expertise in Sage accounting software will ensure precise bookkeeping, timely invoicing, and efficient handling of accounts payable.

Duties

Manage and record all financial transactions using Sage accounting software with support if required from our accountants
Process accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate ledger entries
Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry, scheduling appointments, and correspondence
Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents for audit readiness

Experience

Experience with accounting software such as Sage is a bonus
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general bookkeeping principles
Prior experience in administrative support or office management is a bonus
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies quickly

Pay: £18.00 per hour
