Full job description

Student Liaison and Academic Support Coordinator – Glenala Education

The Student Liaison and Academic Support Coordinator is responsible for providing a welcoming, professional and supportive point of contact for students throughout their learning journey with Glenala Education.

The postholder will work closely with students, tutors, assessors and management to support student engagement, monitor progress, coordinate academic support and ensure that learners receive clear and timely information about their programme.

The role combines student liaison, academic administration and learner support. The postholder will help identify students who may require additional guidance or support and coordinate appropriate action with the relevant academic staff.

The role will include:

Acting as a key point of contact for students
Monitoring attendance, engagement and progress
Liaising with tutors, assessors and management
Supporting student induction and academic administration
Helping students access appropriate academic support
Following up students who may be falling behind or disengaging
Maintaining accurate student records
Supporting a positive and inclusive student experience

Skills and attributes: Educated to degree level, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be confident working with students and staff, and have a professional and supportive approach. Previous experience in education, training, student services or administration would be advantageous.

Pay: £42,000.00 per year
