About Us

TMF Engineering specialise in precision manufacturing, producing high-quality, bespoke, and bulk metal products for a wide range of industries.

The Role

We are looking for a temporary skilled Brake Press Operator to join our growing team. You will be responsible for operating manual press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form metal components to precise specifications.

This role is crucial in ensuring that every product meets quality standards while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. You will play a key part in our production process and work closely with the wider workshop and production team.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual press brake machines to form metal sheets and components.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate parts.
Measure and inspect finished components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Adjust tooling, dies, and machine settings to achieve the desired output.
Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace.

About You

Essential Skills and Experience:

Please apply only if you have previous experience as a Brake Press Operator.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Proven proficiency in manual press brake operation and associated tools.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Working Hours

As this is a temporary role we can offer up to 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday or open flex to suit you.
Core working hours fall between 6:00 am and 4:30 pm.
