Would you like to contribute to students' experience of living and studying in the UK?

Want to join our welcoming international team on a temporary basis?

East Sussex College is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English in the UK and has been ranked as the joint highest state sector English language provider for 14 years.

We are seeking to appoint a sessional member of staff to join our friendly and award-winning international team based at the Lewes campus.

Please note that this is a temporary sessional role until a permanent vacancy is filled (advertised separately).

This exciting role will include:

coordinating the accommodation service including host families in Lewes and surrounding area, and Caburn House (our on-campus residence)
supporting the administrative functions on the Lewes campus
providing a welfare service to international students

If you can demonstrate the following then we’d love to hear from you:

the successful candidate will be well organised with some experience of accommodation or welfare systems
experience working with overseas students would be an advantage
candidates are required to have level 2 maths and English and some experience with Microsoft Office.

Closing date: Wednesday 22nd July 2026

Interview date: Wednesday 29th July 2026 (am)

College location: Based at our Lewes campus

Annual salary: circa £16.11 per hour

Hours: sessional
