Senior Kitchen Designer / Salesperson
Sheelan Kitchens Ltd is a well-established, family-run business with over 38 years of experience designing, manufacturing and fitting high-quality kitchens, wardrobes and bespoke furniture for homeowners, builders and contractors.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Kitchen Designer / Salesperson to join our dedicated, customer-focused team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced kitchen professional who enjoys combining creative design with sales and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will play an important role in guiding customers through the complete design process, from their first showroom visit through to final installation.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers to our showroom and providing a professional, friendly experience.
- Generating and following up on customer leads and enquiries.
- Meeting with clients to understand their requirements, style, budget and expectations.
- Creating attractive, practical and detailed kitchen and furniture designs.
- Preparing accurate quotations and working towards agreed sales targets.
- Managing clients through the full process, from initial consultation and design through to final fitting.
- Building strong customer relationships and delivering an excellent standard of service throughout each project.
- Carrying out home visits, including accurate measuring and site checks.
- Working closely with our manufacturing and fitting teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate should have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience within the kitchen industry or a similar furniture design/sales role.
- Excellent knowledge of the kitchen and bedroom industry, including current products, designs and trends.
- Experience and competence using ArtiCAD, Winner or Cabinet Vision, along with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with additional design or drawing software would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, sales and customer service skills.
- A strong work ethic with a genuine commitment to delivering a high standard of service.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A full driving licence.
- A background in cabinet making or carpentry would be a distinct advantage.

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience.
