We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate complex projects within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and a solid understanding of construction and civil engineering software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

Pure Engineering Group is a full-service mechanical engineering company based in Newry. Established in 2001, the company is a family-owned business founded by the three Mallon brothers - Pádraig, Sean, and Martin. Pure Engineering Group consists of three divisions: Pure Vent, Pure Fabrication, and Pure Mechanical. The company offers a wide range of mechanical engineering products and services, including kitchen ventilation, bespoke mechanical products, and commercial mechanical fitout.

Role Description

This is a full-time on/off-site role for a Mechanical Project Manager at Pure Engineering Group in Newry. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical engineering projects from start to finish. This includes tasks such as coordinating with clients, leading project teams, managing budgets and procurement, ensuring compliance with building services regulations, and providing technical expertise in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications

Preferred

Mechanical Engineering and Building Services expertise
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
Experience in mechanical systems installation and maintenance
Relevant experience, certifications or professional qualifications in mechanical engineering

Essential

Experience in managing and coordinating projects within the construction industry
Skills in procurement and budgeting
Excellent organisational and leadership abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of building regulations and compliance
Clean UK/Irish drivers licence
