Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Joiner / Modular Fitter to join our growing team.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be involved in the construction, fitting and finishing of our modular buildings and projects. This is a hands-on role requiring a high standard of workmanship, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced team.
Duties will include first and second fix joinery, modular building assembly, plastering, roofing, fitting kitchens, doors and windows, installing skirting boards and cladding, and working with galvanised steel framing.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of joinery and fitting work to a high standard
- First and second fix joinery
- Assembly and fitting of modular buildings
- Plastering and general finishing work
- Work with galvanised steel framing
- Roofing and cladding installation
- Fit kitchens, doors, windows and skirting boards
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Measure, cut and assemble materials accurately
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Joiner or Fitter
- Experience within modular construction or steel framing is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication and time management skills
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
- Own tools are advantageous
