Full job description

Job Summary
Friars Carse Country House Hotel is seeking a dedicated and personable Hotel General Assistant to support the smooth operation of our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing excellent guest services, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various hotel functions.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide courteous assistance throughout their stay taking bookings, preparing room accounts, check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring efficient service.
Respond promptly to guest requests and enquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating good phone etiquette
assist the housekeeping team with room cleaning and ensuring standards are met
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Serving in the hotel restaurant, bar and functions areas

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest services with a friendly demeanour
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required This role provides an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest relations. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, professional, and committed to creating positive experiences for all visitors. Great opportunity to learn all departments with the hospitality sector. Must be aged over 18. Live-In not available. Own transport essential due to the location
