We’re looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated Approved Electrician to join our growing team. This isn’t a role for someone who needs supervision — we want a proper electrician who can take a job, run it from start to finish, and deliver first-class results every time.
You’ll be trusted to lead your own projects, manage apprentices when needed, and handle fault-finding, testing, and certification efficiently and accurately. If you’re organised, professional, and proud of your workmanship, you’ll fit right in here.
Responsibilities
- Carry out full electrical installations, maintenance, and testing across domestic and commercial sites
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and correctly
- Take full ownership of your jobs with minimal supervision
- Supervise and support apprentices when required
- Complete electrical certification and ensure compliance with BS7671 and Part P
- Communicate clearly with customers and represent the company professionally
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain tidy, safe worksites
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition qualification
- Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) essential
- Strong experience in fault-finding and diagnostics
- Able to read drawings and take initiative on site
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, proactive, and capable of leading your own workload
