Our planning team is expanding, and we are looking to recruit an experienced chartered planning professional or experienced planner.

The highlights

Delivering a portfolio of client projects across rural land and property.

The role requires experience of business development and working as a planner.

Nationwide – hybrid or office based in Skipton, North Yorkshire.

Salary based on experience.

We are a multi-disciplinary business focused on rural development and diversification. We work throughout the UK with a wide and varied client base with diverse land and property interests.

The person

We are looking for a candidate who is commercially aware with a proven track record in business development and over five years' post qualification experience working as a planner.

The successful candidate will be resourceful, flexible, and ambitious and be able to demonstrate the following experience:

An excellent understanding of client relationship management.

Excellent presentation skills.

A proven ability to manage workload, budgets and project co-ordination.

A proven track record in business development and project delivery.

Competence and confidence to deal with a range of planning disciplines.

Experience of working in a rural planning practice is not essential, but a demonstration of an understanding of rural planning issues is beneficial.

Location

Flexible, nationwide.

Our head office is in Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales but as a flexible employer we will consider applications from anywhere in the UK on a hybrid basis with an expectation of some working days each month being spent in Skipton. We are set up to work collaboratively as a dispersed team.
