Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Chef de Partie with 1–3 years' experience in a similar role to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes across all areas of the menu while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard across all aspects of the menu.
- Demonstrate experience working across multiple kitchen sections, including pastry, grill, and larder.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your assigned section, ensuring it is clean, organised, and fully stocked.
- Monitor and manage station inventory, reporting stock shortages and minimising waste.
- Supervise, support, and help develop junior members of the kitchen team.
- Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and served in accordance with food safety regulations and company procedures.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Collaborate effectively with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and wider kitchen team.
Essential Requirements
- 1–3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
- Experience preparing and cooking dishes across multiple kitchen sections, including pastry, grill, and larder.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality food.
- A good understanding of food safety procedures; Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate is preferred.
- High standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to perform well under pressure.

Pay: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
