Full job description

Charterhouse provides a unique residential addiction recovery experience through the use of centres located in unique environments in the UK

We currently have newly developed a high end treatment centre in Northamptonshire and Our addiction treatment centre provide unparalleled discretion and a superior one to one client treatment administered by leading industry doctors, counsellors and therapists.

We're looking for a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to join our team, providing vital support to individuals overcoming substance misuse in a residential setting. You'll work collaboratively with service users, families, and multi-agency teams to deliver high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide day-to-day support and guidance to clients

· Process new admissions and discharges

· Develop and implement individualised Care plan

· Facilitate group work and activities promoting recovery and wellbeing

· Contribute to assessments, reviews, and reports

· Work with clients to address substance misuse and related issues

· Maintain accurate records and adhere to policies/procedures

· Escort service users to shop runs or daily walks

· Drive clients using company vehicle to mutual aid groups such as Alcohol Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous Groups in the meeting

· Supervise pool area

Requirements:

· Relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ, DipSW) and/or experience in support work/substance misuse

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

· Understanding of substance misuse issues and recovery principles
