Full job description

To work with the finance and commercial manager and the senior leadership team to support the administrative functions of Emmaus Norfolk and Waveney.

Process incoming and outgoing post, ensuring financial correspondence is distributed promptly.
Count, reconcile and prepare retail takings for banking in accordance with financial procedures.
Process purchase invoices and upload invoices received by email into the accounting system (QuickBooks).
Maintain accurate rent accounts and process rent invoices.
Raise retail invoices and ensure they are issued accurately and on time.
Provide administrative support for company Barclaycard transactions, including checking statements and maintaining records.
Assist with banking administration and ensure all banking procedures are followed.
Input and maintain information from our EPOS system accurately.
Lead the recruitment and integration of people wanting to volunteer with us.
Provide ongoing support for our new and existing volunteers including conducting periodic reviews, being their direct point of contact with us, and answering any questions they have about their time with us.
Work with other members of the staff team to identify opportunities for bringing in new volunteers to support our work.
Process customer and supplier orders as required.
Prepare thank you letters and other standard correspondence.
Check supplier and customer statements, identifying and reporting discrepancies.
Monitor the finance email inbox, responding to routine queries and forwarding correspondence where appropriate.
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems, both electronic and paper based.
Assist with general finance and administrative duties to support the Finance Team.

Pay: £21,000.00 per year
