We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Higher Level Learning Assistant (Maths) to join us here at City of Peterborough Academy.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential in mathematics.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support learning across the Mathematics department, providing targeted intervention, delivering planned learning activities, and contributing to improved student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Support the teaching and learning of Mathematics across Key Stages.

Deliver small group and one-to-one intervention programmes to raise attainment and close learning gaps.

Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities under the direction of teaching staff.

Monitor, assess and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.

Support students with varying abilities, including those with SEND, EAL and disadvantaged learners.

Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement in learning.

Assist in preparing learning resources and maintaining an effective learning environment.

Provide classroom cover for planned teacher absence where appropriate.

Contribute to the wider life of the school and support enrichment activities.
