Alma beauty Aesthetics is looking for an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber / Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner to join our growing medical aesthetics clinic.
We are looking for someone who is more than simply a prescriber. You will be a hands-on aesthetic practitioner, carrying out treatments, consulting with clients, developing personalised treatment plans and helping us maintain exceptional clinical standards across the clinic.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious practitioner who wants to become an important part of a growing aesthetics business, develop their own client base and potentially progress into a Lead Aesthetic Nurse / Clinical Lead position.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Carry out comprehensive aesthetic consultations and patient assessments
- Independently prescribe within your professional scope of practice
- Perform anti-wrinkle injectable treatments
- Perform dermal filler treatments, including lips and facial rejuvenation/contouring
- Deliver skin boosters and other injectable skin treatments
- Develop personalised treatment plans based on each client’s needs
- Conduct treatment reviews and follow-up appointments
- Recognise, manage and appropriately escalate aesthetic complications
- Maintain accurate clinical records, consent forms and treatment documentation
- Maintain excellent infection prevention and clinical safety standards
- Ensure treatments are delivered in accordance with professional and regulatory requirements
- Provide clients with clear pre-treatment and aftercare advice
- Help develop and maintain clinical protocols and treatment standards
- Work collaboratively with the wider clinic team
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Support the growth and development of the clinic’s medical aesthetics offering
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
- Recognised Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent)
- Appropriate prescribing annotation/registration
- Minimum 2 years’ practical experience within medical aesthetics
- Demonstrable experience administering anti-wrinkle treatments
- Demonstrable experience administering dermal fillers
- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy
- Excellent consultation and treatment-planning skills
- Good understanding of aesthetic complications and their management
- Appropriate professional indemnity/medical malpractice cover
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- A professional, ethical and safety-focused approach to aesthetics
Highly Desirable Experience
Additional training or experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- PRP treatments
- Polynucleotides
- Skin boosters
- Microneedling
- IV vitamin/wellness therapy
- Phlebotomy and venepuncture
- Advanced facial rejuvenation
- Complications management
- Emergency/anaphylaxis management
Training and development opportunities may be available for the right candidate, so we do not expect applicants to already perform every treatment listed above.

Working Pattern
We are open to discussing both full-time and part-time arrangements with exceptional candidates.
Some evening and/or weekend availability may be required to accommodate client demand.
Salary
£35,000–£42,000 per year depending on qualifications, aesthetics experience and treatment capability, plus commission/performance incentives.
Higher overall earning potential is available for experienced practitioners who develop a strong client base and generate significant treatment revenue.
