We are seeking an experienced, driven, and customer-focused Lettings professional to join our busy and successful team. As a key member of our Lettings department, you will play a vital role in managing the lettings journey from initial enquiry through to tenancy commencement, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all parties. This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the business through landlord engagement, property valuations, and winning new instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the full lettings process from applicant enquiry through to move-in.
- Conducting property viewings and securing tenancy agreements.
- Negotiating offers between landlords and prospective tenants.
- Registering applicants and matching them with suitable properties.
- Progressing references, tenancy documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, contractors, and internal departments.
- Providing outstanding customer service and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Assisting with property management matters where required.
- Carrying out rental valuations and meeting with prospective and existing landlords.
- Advising landlords on current market conditions, rental values, and lettings strategies.
- Identifying opportunities to win new instructions and contribute to portfolio growth.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with landlords to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative duties and ensuring accurate record keeping.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous residential lettings experience (essential).
- Experience in property management and a strong understanding of tenancy processes.
- Confidence in conducting rental valuations and building relationships with landlords.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- A proactive, professional, and customer-focused approach.
- Good working knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- A full UK driving licence is required, with access to your own vehicle to be used for business.
