Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Upholsterer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, sew, and assemble upholstery fabrics using hand tools, power tools, and sewing machines to create or repair furniture pieces.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues during fabrication or repair processes efficiently.
- Use fabricating techniques to construct custom upholstery solutions tailored to client specifications.
- Handle heavy lifting safely while moving materials or furniture components within the warehouse or workshop.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the upholstery process to ensure durability and aesthetic standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks while maintaining high craftsmanship standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Upholsterer or similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems related to furniture fabrication and repair.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as staplers, screwdrivers, pliers, and measuring devices.
- Proficiency with power tools including drills, saws, and sewing machines designed for upholstery work.
- Skilled in sewing techniques specific to upholstery fabrics and materials.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred for efficient material handling and storage management.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently in a fast-paced environment.
