We are seeking a professional, organised, and friendly Receptionist & Administrator to join our team. As the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and suppliers, you will play a key role in creating a positive impression of the business while providing administrative support across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be capable of managing a variety of administrative tasks in a busy office environment.
This is a full-time position, working five days per week, Monday to Thursday, from 9:00am to 5:30pm & Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls to the relevant people.
- Welcome all visitors & customers in a professional & courteous manner, ensuring all visitors comply with company safety procedures.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Book & manage travel arrangements for colleagues when required.
Administrative Duties
- Provide general administrative support to management and office staff.
- Manage deliveries & collections of hire vehicles on behalf of a TBC client. This includes corresponding by email or telephone, also updating vehicle information on all required systems.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems & company documents.
- Assist with data entry and updating internal databases
- Order and maintain office supplies and stationery.
- Booking customer’s vehicles in for yearly check
General Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.
- Support continuous improvement of office processes and administration.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments.
- Undertake other duties appropriate to the role as required.
Skills & Experience
Essential

Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, or office environment.
