About us

Evotech are seeking a Mobile Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy commercial building maintenance team, to undertake planned and reactive maintenance at our clients’ premises in Manchester, Liverpool and Chester areas.

We have a nationwide team of experienced and qualified static and mobile mechanical and electrical engineers who help deliver our building maintenance services.

About the role

This is a mobile based role which involves travelling throughout the Manchester, Liverpool and Chester areas. The role is supported from our Elland regional office and includes working on a varied portfolio of commercial buildings as a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer. Your responsibilities will include:

·Undertake PPM and reactive maintenance, including fault finding, repair and installation of mechanical/electrical and HVAC services

·Complete all paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner

·Be proactive, use your initiative and take ownership of situations

·Ensure all work carried out is done so within the H&S requirements

About you

Having succeeded in a similar role you will hold all relevant professional qualifications and will be proactive, self-motivated, and work equally well independently and as part of the wider team. You will be able to build and maintain relationships across the organisation and with our customers.

Essential qualifications and experience:

·Hold a formal qualification within Mechanical or Electrical – (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, HND or similar).

·Experience of working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance engineer

·HVAC experience would be an advantage

·Good technical knowledge as well as the ability to multi-task

·Ability to plan and prioritise own workload to deadlines

·Ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative

·Ability to work from instruction and make decisions as needed with minimal supervision.

·Friendly and approachable nature with great communication skills (including written)

·Great attention to detail with excellent time management skills

Your remuneration

This is a permanent position, Monday – Friday, working 40 hours per week between 08.00 am to 17.00 pm.

·Starting salary - £45,000.00

·Additional hours available (overtime)

·Out of hours on call payment (cover required every 1 in 4 weeks)

·Fully expensed company vehicle

·25 days holiday (pro rata), plus bank holidays per year
