Hours: 12-15 hrs per week, over minimum of 3 days

We are currently seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Administrative & Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our venue.
Job Summary:
The Administrative & Accounts Assistant will play a key role in ensuring smooth administrative operations behind the scenes. This position involves a mix of clerical duties, customer service, and coordination tasks, requiring strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the venue management and events team.
- Answer phones, respond to email inquiries, and greet visitors or clients.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, and bookings.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems.
- Prepare event-related documentation (e.g., contracts, invoices, checklists).
- Update calendars, booking systems, and client databases.
- Support event setup logistics and coordination where needed.
- Coordination of volunteer team to support events.
- Assist with ordering office and venue supplies.
- Perform bookkeeping and invoicing tasks as assigned.
- Other administrative or ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Friendly, professional demeanour and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Welsh Speaking (desirable)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an events, finance, hospitality, or venue environment.
- Familiarity with booking or event management software.
- Basic knowledge of invoicing or bookkeeping.
