What role you will play in our team
We are looking for highly skilled Welders, Pipefitters, Boilermakers and Riggers to join our Metal Trades Team undertaking work to support Fawley Site Operations.
They are expected to have the following attributes:

About you
-
Craft / technical apprenticeship completed in one of the following areas-
Welding (coded to ISO 9606‑1 in TIG and MMA in ferrous and non-ferrous metals)
Pipefitting
Boilermaking
Rigging (Appointed Person trained)

Petrochemical experience working on the following types of equipment- Heat exchangers, towers, pipework, steelwork, boilers, furnaces, vessels and reactors.

Technical qualification in relevant trade (BTEC, NVQ, City and Guilds, welding coding’s, Appointed Person, etc)

Ability to execute complex tasks
-
Practical problem-solving skills
-
Able to interpret and work from engineering drawings

Proven team and leadership skills. Able and willing to step up and lead a team when required
-
Willingness to learn additional trade skills and become a multi skilled technician
-
Competent with using workshop machinery
-
Basic computer skills e.g. Outlook, Word and Excel and willing to take on additional training to learn additional systems
