About The Role:
As an Assistant Civil Engineer, you will support the delivery of a wide range of civil infrastructure projects, working as part of a talented team to produce high-quality engineering solutions for our clients.
You will have the opportunity to develop your technical capability, contribute to project delivery and work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects from concept through to detailed design and construction.
- Assisting with the preparation of technical drawings, reports and project documentation.
- Supporting the delivery of highway and drainage infrastructure designs.
- Working collaboratively with engineers, technicians and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Contributing to the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget and to client expectations.
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, utility providers and other stakeholders.
- Developing your understanding of technical standards, design processes and industry best practice.
- Supporting the review and checking of engineering outputs to ensure quality and compliance.
- Learning from experienced engineers while developing your own technical expertise and confidence.

About You:
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Assistant Civil Engineer who is keen to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking engineering team.
You will have:
- A degree qualification in Civil Engineering (MEng/BEng or equivalent).
- An interest in infrastructure design and delivering sustainable engineering solutions.
- Some experience or understanding of highway and drainage design principles.
- A willingness to develop technical skills across multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach with a desire to learn and take on new challenges.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- An interest in developing experience with industry software such as Civils 3D and MicroDrainage (advantageous).
- A commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions and progressing your professional development.
