We are seeking a skilled and adaptable All-Rounder Builder / Versatile Construction Handyperson to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct construction painting to prepare surfaces and achieve professional finishes
- Undertake masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction activities
- Fabricate custom components or modifications as needed for specific projects
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, painting, & masonry
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to undertake fabrication tasks with precision
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good physical fitness with the capacity to lift heavy materials and work at heights when necessary
- Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the construction environment
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in trades are advantageous but not essential if demonstrated experience is substantial
- A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
- Valid UK driving licence
