THE STEEL SHOP is a growing structural steel fabrication and installation company working across South Wales and the South West. We deliver a wide range of commercial and domestic structural steel projects and pride ourselves on producing high-quality workmanship while investing in our people and modern equipment.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Welder/Fabricator to join our workshop team.
The Role
This role primarily involves welding pre-assembled structural steel sections within our fabrication workshop. You will be responsible for producing high-quality structural welds in accordance with company quality standards.
Working closely with our fabrication team, you'll ensure assemblies are completed accurately, safely, and efficiently before they are prepared for inspection and delivery to site.

Desirable
- Previous experience welding structural steelwork.
- Overhead crane experience.
- Counterbalance forklift licence.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent practical experience).
