Full job description

Experienced Conveyancing Assistant based in Mamhilad.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced conveyancing assistant to join the residential conveyancing team here at Stephens Wilmot Solicitors.

The conveyancing assistant plays a key part in the Conveyancing Team providing support to the fee earner with their caseload.

Duties will include answering the incoming telephone line, Running clients initial paperwork and initial letters to other solicitors. Providing case updates to clients and estate agents, conducting searches and anti-money laundering checks, obtaining redemption statements, updating the Case Management system, lenders and panel hubs, preparing invoices and completion statements, lodging Stamp Duty returns and other tasks as required by the Conveyancer. There is a career progression route to progress into a junior Conveyancer position with the relevant experience.

The office is located within Mamhilad Business Park, Pontypool.

There is free car parking on site and discounted bus service from Pontypool Town Centre.
