Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team. The role is roadside and in an open yard / customer premises maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. Must have basic hand tools.
Overtime available - HGV Mechanic Experience is a must
Duties
- Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs on HGVs
- Weld and solder components as needed
- Diagnose faults and repair equipment
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions
- Interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues
Skills
- Proficient in electrical systems of HGVs
- Ability to weld and solder effectively
- Capable of heavy lifting
- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment repair
- Skilled in interpreting schematics
- Customer service-oriented attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £18.50-£20.00 per hour
