Full job description

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Dumper Driver and become a vital part of our construction and excavation operations! In this energetic role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and unload materials efficiently across various sites. Your expertise will ensure smooth logistics, safety, and productivity on every project. We value proactive, safety-conscious drivers who are eager to contribute to successful project completion and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Safely operate dump trucks to haul materials such as soil, gravel, demolition debris, and other construction supplies
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper functioning
Load and unload materials accurately, following site instructions and safety protocols
Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and team members.
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
Keep detailed logs of deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records

Skills

Proven experience operating excavators or other heavy machinery
Excellent knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulations
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work efficiently under deadlines
Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel

Pay: From £16.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
