Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Roofers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and tools. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship, ensuring that all roofing projects are completed to the highest standards.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials including slate, tiles and flat roofing systems.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for roofing tasks.
Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and equipment on-site.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues such as leaks or damage, providing recommendations for repairs.

Experience

Proven experience in roofing or a related construction field is essential.
Familiarity with single -ply welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory (training can be provided)
Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in roofing applications.
Professional with a passion for quality workmanship in the roofing industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £16.50-£19.50 per hour
