This will be a Monday to Friday based shift pattern which will change to 4on/4off shift pattern once training has been completed.

You’ll be working for one of the market leaders
Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Dealing with multiple drivers
-
Communicating with ports
-
Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
-
Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times
-
Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time
-
Rerouting jobs as and when is needed
-
Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system

Speaking to customers on possible delays advising eta’s
We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:

Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential

Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
- Excellent UK geographical knowledge

Can work on own initiative

Quick and efficient problem solving skills
