Hutton Henry CE Primary School is a small and welcoming primary school seeking a committed and skilled EYFS HLTA to support high-quality provision in our Early Years setting.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, covering classes when required, and helping to deliver a rich, engaging Early Years curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
· Building positive relationships with class teachers to implement individualised learning plans for pupils with all levels of needs and abilities
· Support the planning and delivery of high-quality EYFS provision
· Lead learning activities and deliver sessions to groups and whole classes
· Cover classes during teacher absence or PPA time
· Support children’s development across all areas of learning
· Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents
· Assist in the creation and adaptation of learning materials to suit pupil’s individual needs in readiness for lessons
· Undertake break and lunch supervision as required
· Have a hands-on approach to supporting pupils in their learning, with a willingness to interact, engage and form positive rapport with pupils
· Foster a supportive and inclusive environment throughout school where all pupils feel valued and respected
· Provide accurate clerical support when required in terms of pupil data/progress
Our ideal candidate will:
· Previous experience of working in a similar role within a Primary Education setting
· Has HLTA status or equivalent experience
· Has strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
· Is confident leading learning independently
· Is nurturing, organised, and committed to helping children thrive
· A passion for working with children and a commitment to promoting well-being and academic development ensuring every pupil is supported to fulfil their potential and flourish in education
· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form strong and supportive relationships with children
· Demonstrate patience, empathy and a positive attitude towards overcoming challenges
· A resilient, proactive and positive nature
· High levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with pupils
· Have the ability to create and maintain a safe , supportive and engaging environment
· (Desirable but not essential) Relevant qualifications or training within education, childcare or working with additional needs
