The role

We’re looking for passionate, hard-workers with some previous optical experience ready to confidently welcome and help customers as they walk through our doors. And once you’ve found your feet as an Optical Assistant, you won’t just have to stop there. We have plenty of professional training and development in other business areas, as well as the support of experienced Opticians and Technicians supporting you on your journey. So whatever you want your career to look like, you can bring it to life at Specsavers.

Our store
Located in the heart of the local community, Specsavers Gorseinon is a busy and well-established optical and hearing centre dedicated to delivering outstanding customer care and clinical excellence. Situated on Alexandra Road in Gorseinon, Swansea, the store offers a wide range of eye health and hearing services, supported by modern technology and a passionate, customer-focused team. The store features five test rooms, enabling the team to deliver high-quality clinical care while supporting a consistently strong customer experience. The store benefits from excellent public transport links, including regular local bus services connecting Gorseinon with Swansea, Llanelli and surrounding areas. For those travelling by car, free parking is available nearby.
