General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time Production Test & Manufacturing Quality Manager to join our established team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary of £50,560 to £55,000 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally.
Joining an established team based at our Merthyr ( South Wales ) facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders that will require leading and supporting non-conformity management and working with various stakeholders to develop root cause and appropriate corrective actions to resolve the issue while deploying effective containment to support the programme.
If you were already working in this position, this is what you would have been working on this week:

Lead and drive production non-conformances into RCCA format to drive out quality issues

Undertake as part of a cross functional team the analysis of non-conformances identified during production to ensure that problems are addressed, and appropriate corrective action is taken. To establish trends and root cause analysis.

Undertake as part of a cross functional team the generation and management of PFMEAs, control plans and inspection scripts.
- Ensure that non-conforming products, services and processes are investigated and audit the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions.
To apply for this role, you will require the following:

Solid root cause investigation and non-conformity experience is essential

Good knowledge of ISO9001, Defence Standards and NATO standards
- Ability to liaise with, and present information to, multi-disciplined and multi-national team members
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentation.

Must be flexible in terms of working hours, willing to travel within and outside the UK
