Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in accounting processes, and support the overall financial health of our organization. Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
Manage accounts payable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and ensuring timely vendor settlements.
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to ensure consistency and correctness across all financial data.
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports to support smooth financial operations.
Prepare financial reports and summaries to aid management in decision-making and budgeting efforts.
Support year-end closing activities and assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with team members to improve bookkeeping procedures and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Skills

Proficiency in popular accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential for success in this role.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and experience managing vendor invoices and payments.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately record and reconcile financial data.
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a part-time schedule.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors clearly.
Basic knowledge of payroll procedures and expense reporting is a plus.
Familiarity with general accounting principles (GAAP) will enhance your effectiveness in this position.
