Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of our organisation. This role offers flexible hours and an opportunity to work in a professional environment that values precision and integrity.

Duties

Manage and maintain financial records using recognised accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
Prepare financial reports and summaries as required for management review
Support year-end accounting activities and liaise with external auditors if necessary
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and organisational policies

Qualifications

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
A recognised qualification in accounting or bookkeeping is desirable but not essential
