Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises through CCTV and surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and implementing loss prevention strategies. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate CCTV and surveillance equipment to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
Implement loss prevention measures to safeguard property and assets.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when required and assist in investigations as necessary.
Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security concerns.

Experience

Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous.
Basic knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial; certification is a plus.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for reporting incidents effectively.
