Job Overview
Full time general farm worker wanted to join our team on a 550 cow family run dairy farm in Sandbach, Cheshire.
Split block calving system 400 Autumn and 150 spring. Varied role working with the dairy herd and young stock. You will be involved with the day to day running of the farm, have good attention to detail and previous experience is essential.
Responsibilities
- Milking in a 50 point external rotary parlour.
- Food trimming
- Drying off cows
- Scraping out
- Bedding up
- Fertiliser spreading
- Pre mowing grass paddocks
- Ferrying silage
Skills
- A full road licence is required
- Must be enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a team
- Reliable person with good time keeping
