Environmental Compliance & Services Ltd (ECAS) is dedicated to supporting water utilities in reducing sewer blockages and flooding by engaging with the food service sector. We focus on educating clients and implementing measures to trap fats, oils, and grease at the source, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulation through inspections, guidance, and ongoing monitoring.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drainage Technician to join our team in Preston/Lancashire. The role will involve diagnosing drainage issues, carrying out CCTV surveys, drain tracing and misconnection tracing work.

Key responsibilities:

Conduct CCTV drain surveys to identify blockages/misconnections defects or structural issues.
Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety and environmental standards.
Respond promptly to emergency callouts or reactive maintenance requests.
Maintain equipment and vehicle in good working order.

Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience with misconnection tracing is essential
Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with CCTV drain survey equipment
Valid driver's license
Confined Space entry & Jetting Certificate

Skills & Attributes

Good problem solving and fault-finding skills
Capable of working in confined or outdoor environments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Reliable, self-motivated and safety conscious
