Our office in Chorley is currently seeking an enthusiastic Trainee to assist with various accounting duties day to day.
Key responsibilities of an Accounts Trainee will include:

Assisting with the preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts

Assisting with the preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
-
Preparation of VAT returns and bookkeeping using cloud based software such as Sage, Xero and Quickbooks

Assistance with the preparation of personal tax returns
-
General office administration tasks
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
-
5 GCSE passes, including Maths and English
-
A Levels grade A* to C, ideally in an Accounting related subject

Knowledge of using Microsoft software, particularly Word and Excel
-
Is eager to progress and develop, with the willingness to adapt
-
An effective communicator and listener and who and would collaborate well with the rest of our team

Wants to make a positive impact on our firm and be part of our journey into the future

Demonstrates a high level of honesty and integrity
