Customer Account Co-Ordinator
Consett – Full-Time or Part-Time (minimum 20 hours per week) considered – Monday to Friday
£26,500 - £28,750 per annum (pro-rata for part-time/reduced hours), dependent on experience
We’re looking for somebody practical, organised and good with people to join our customer team.
This is a busy, hands-on role supporting our existing business customers by phone and email. You’ll help customers with orders, queries and day-to-day support, while also keeping an eye on what’s happening within your customer group — spotting opportunities, noticing changes and helping make sure customers get the right support at the right time.
Some days will involve solving problems and following things through. Other days will involve speaking with regular customers, spotting opportunities during conversations, or noticing trends in customer activity that may need further attention from the wider team.
This role is not about hard selling or big egos.
It’s much more suited to somebody who enjoys staying busy, likes speaking with people, notices detail and gets satisfaction from doing the job properly.
You do not need previous sales experience.
People from customer service, retail, hospitality, office support, logistics, production planning, wholesale or similar backgrounds could all do well in this role if they are comfortable communicating with customers and happy working as part of a team.
We’re also happy to consider part-time or reduced hours (minimum 20 hours per week) — if you’re looking to return to work around school hours or other commitments, we’d like to hear from you.
