At Amcor Flexibles we are currently hiring for a Print Assistant, joining our Print department to work alongside Print Operators, helping to maintain a steady supply of material to the press, whilst ensuring that inks and solvents are at hands for the Press Operator.
Working Hours: 06:55 -1 9:00/18:55 - 07:00, rotating shift pattern.
Involves days and nights, as well as weekend working.
Starting Salary: £26,126.51
Job Dimensions & Scope
· Forward planning to ensure that work schedules are achieved
· Maintaining good housekeeping and general tidiness within the working environment whilst strictly adhering to the Health & Safety policies.
· Carry out risk assessments and inform your Manager of any new activity that needs to be performed within your area.
· Report any faulty materials or equipment to your Manager and Engineering.
· Be prepared to work in any part of the production facility providing the relevant training has been provided.
· Ensure adequate supplies of raw materials are available for the following shift.
· Be constantly vigilant to process or quality faults and ensure a thorough examination of the material is carried out at the end of each reel. In addition, support line management in undertaking appropriate remedial action to correct the faults.
· Assist in the delivery of agreed company training plans in areas required to develop you to agreed standards.
· Take an active role in developing world-class manufacturing principles and assist with the implementation in designated Team.
Principal Accountabilities
· To maintain high standards of work at all times

· To ensure all necessary administration work is complete as per the instructions
· To adhere to all health and safety requirements
· To maintain all housekeeping duties within the production area
· Checking work instructions to ensure all parameters are correct
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

· Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment would be preferable
